The National Videogame Museum is teaming up with the Scrub Budz to throw a sweet retro gaming party in celebration of the Scrub Budz one year anniversary!

It’s goin’ down on Saturday, October 14th with events starting at Noon and going all the way to 7pm.

If you’ve never been to the National Videogame Museum, this is the perfect excuse to have an epic roadtrip or hop on a cheap Indiana Jones-style chicken cage plane to check it out. It’s an amazing, visually exciting, thorough, incredible collection of games past and present. There’s nothing else like it in the world!

Entrance to the party is free alongside your paid museum admission that day:

$12 (general admission)
$10 (ages 10 and under)
$10 (Senior citizens, educators, and active military)
Ages 3 and under are free

Prove your skills and win radical prizes in events like:

A game show about… well… video games!

A 16 player battle of the bits!

Event Schedule


Noon – 1pm: Meet and Greet – Gather and hang out with Richard, Will, Mark, and Hatter face-to-face

1pm – 1:30pm: Game Show #1 – Contestants prove their vast gaming knowledge

2pm – 2:30pm: Earworm Arcade Challenge – Players attempt to identify tunes from games, both fond and rare

3pm – 3:40pm: Game Show #2 – New rivals attempt to outwit each other in gaming trivia

4pm – 5:00pm: Retro Gaming Tournament – Contenders play mystery games to dominate the bracket

5:30pm – 7pm: Game with the Budz – Play random titles with the Scrub Budz themselves!

Please note: If you sign up for a competition, but all slots are filled before we can take this form down, we will notify you and add you to a standby list for that event. If someone doesn’t show, then you’re up!
